Reading up on Satanism and doing some research on the matter, I stumbled across a few interesting websites.
http://web.satanism101.com/

I can only derive 3 significant pieces of information from it.
1) Satanists are everywhere.
2) Satanists claim to not be the sadistic bunch of people we have them to be.
3) Satanists claim to not be believers of Satan.
The first point is rather obvious, especially in countries such as USA.
Of course, Satanism in Singapore is deemed illegal, since it is known as "evil".
The second point isn't all that surprising as well. Who in the right mind would actually confess to being sadistic and/or evil? Confessing to acts such as murdering and organising depraved ceromonies in the name of Satan doesn't sound such a good idea after all.
However, the most interesting point would be the third.
This point would seem most contradictory, since here, we are hearing that Satanists are claiming to not be believers of the very person (if he can be called so) they are named after.
I'll be doing more research on this, but before that, let's have a look at The Church of Satan.
http://www.churchofsatan.com/
"Founded on April 30, 1966 c.e. by Anton Szandor LaVey, we are the first above-ground organization in history openly dedicated to the acceptance of Man’s true nature—that of a carnal beast, living in a cosmos which is permeated and motivated by the Dark Force which we call Satan."
From here, we can infer that Satan is not the person commonly known as Lucifer, once an angel of God. Rather, it is merely a dark force, which motivates certain actions of man.
"We Satanists are our own Gods, and we are the explorers of the Left-Hand Path. We do not bow down before the myths and fictions of the desiccated spiritual followers of the Right-Hand Path."
More information can be achieved by further looking into this 2 sites.
The Free Masons (an organization closely linked to Satanism)
http://www.freedomdomain.com/freemason.html

"Freemasonry is a worldwide fraternal organization. Its members are joined together by shared ideals of both a moral and metaphysical nature, and, in most of its branches, by a common belief in a Supreme Being. Freemasonry is an esoteric art, in that certain aspects of its internal work are not generally revealed to the public. Masons give numerous reasons for this, one of which is that Freemasonry uses an initiatory system of degrees to explore ethical and philosophical issues, and this system is less effective if the observer knows beforehand what will happen. It often calls itself "a peculiar system of morality veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols.""
"The Freemasons are often accused of all kinds of things from influencing international affairs to managing interplanetary alliances and treaties. The problem with research on the subject of Freemasonry, especially on the Internet, is that most of the time religious beliefs and superstitious ideologies get in the way and DISTORT THE TRUTH. "
